Jack Garofalo.
"40 years of photojournalism"
14.11.2012 – 01.12.2012
In collaboration with Paris Match
Jack Garofalo, a great multidisciplinary photographer, was part of the Paris Match team for more than 30 years, starting in 1953.
He had no specialty, he photographed everything, but he was the genius of the game of light, as stated in Paris Match in “The great match photographers: 2. Jack Garofalo” (03/14/2009).
He was interested by the most famous people of this world —such as Chirac resting, Delon in Venice, or even Inès de La Fressange— as well as the Bronx reduced to the wild by the casual gangs that reigned there.
The 75 Faubourg gallery pays tribute to him and presents his work through several photographies. Many people have come to admire and bow out to the great and passionate photographer, friend of the stars.
