Mahi Binebine

The 75 Faubourg gallery presents in Paris the extension of the exhibition at Galerie Bab Rouah (Rabbat), for Mahi Binebine, artist of Moroccan origin. His primitive and ethnic-looking works are at the same time clean, soft, and very colorful. His painting seems to be one with his pictorial representations, which represent men.

These works are accompanied by a monograph reproducing more than 300 paintings by the artist, published in November 2007 by Éditions de l’Aube. Through his work, Mahi Binebine takes us on a journey, just like himself whose journey has allowed him to overcome the divides of Morocco by exporting to Europe and internationally, and therefore acquire a certain fame.
